Miss Dena
Monroe
 


Artistic Director

Miss Dena is an extraordinary, phenomenally talented, performer, choreographer, and dance instructor. She has performed in the largest film and TV studio in the world, the entertainment powerhouse, Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.While living in Orlando, Dena was granted a business internship at the ever enchanting Walt Disney World. This experience advanced her knowledge of commerce, trade, and entrepreneurship. In addition, Miss Dena trained with master dancer and choreographer, the amazingly talented, Glenn Douglas Packard. Glen’s impressive resume includes the honor of an Emmy nomination for his artistic direction in Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary celebration. Dena has also served as the exclusive choreographer for a select performance by Jerry Lewis’ daughter, Montana.

Nationally, she provided dance instruction at Plumb Performing Arts Center which is considered to be one of the finest dance companies in the Phoenix, Arizona valley. This experience allowed her the opportunity to train and choreograph with many distinguished dancers. Locally, she spent four years as the Assistant Director and Competition Director at a promising academy of dance. This leadership position led to recognition as outstanding choreographer at many national and regional competitions throughout the United States including: Cathy Roe's Ultimate Choreography Award and New York City Dance Alliance’s Critic’s Choice Award. She has a tremendous love for children and the unique gift of drawing out each dancer’s individual best. Miss Dena has a heart of gold and a passion for dance that is unstoppable.

 
 
Miss Kelly
Malinowski
 

I have been in the fitness industry for almost 30 years. I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Education degree. I hold my certifications and have extensive training in various types of fitness. These groups include:

  • Pilates
  • Zumba
  • Group Exercise
  • Group Cycling
  • Indoor Rowing
  • Balletone

I taught dance in the Toledo area for almost 20 years. When I moved to Philadelphia, I resumed my dance training and continued to teach fitness classes. I've worked with children as young as 4 and adults well into their 80's.

Russell

This Emmy nominated choreographer has worked with such stars as Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers and Michael Jackson. He directed a commercial for Carvel Ice cream and performed with numerous music artists including Reba McEntire, Smashmouth, Sugar Ray, Jason Mraz, the B-52's, Toni Basil and Alanis Morrisette. You might have seen him on television in “Even Stevens”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Tonight Show “ or national Gap commercials. Gregg was also featured on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine as an entrepreneur who directs his own tap company titled “Tap Sounds Underground”, travels with the conventions Company Dance and Dance Olympus and owns the corporation 3D Dance Network, Inc.

 
 
Miss Amy
Bethel
 

Amy Bethel is a multitalented, illustrious, accomplished dancer and dance instructor. She has had extensive experience in dance education and is recognized for her teaching contributions in the award winning company, The Catz Squad. Her extensive training across the country has contributed to her expertise in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. She has had the distinctive opportunity to study with the highly sought after Cory Finn. Cory Finn’s unparalleled creativity along with his versatile ability puts him in the fore front with great demands from studios everywhere. She has also had the unique privilege to gain unprecedented knowledge from Los Angeles dancer and choreographer Mark Meismer.

In addition, Amy has trained with Jackie Sleight, jazz dancer, choreographer, and director who is infamous for her fast-paced, rhythmically intricate choreography. Amy has also performed for Emmy nominee, director and choreographer Joe Malone in his summer dance concert in Los Angeles after being chosen as L.A. Dance Magic’s Performer of the weekend. Amy’s numerous experiences and opportunities in dance matched with her vivacious personality make her a highly qualified, expert dancer and choreographer.

 
   
Miss Stephanie
Bell
 

I have been in the dance industry for 14 years. I trained at the blue lake fine arts and worked with many choreographers at The American Ballet Theatre Convention. Took 1st place in many regional dance competitions including: Nexstar, Star System, Showstoppers, Cathy Roes Ultimate, Starbound, Rainbow Dance Competition, Hall of Fame, Kids Artistic Review, and Applause.

   
   
Miss Patty
Henry
 

Patty Henry has loved to dance since she was three years old. Her training continued through her college years and her passion grew further for tap and Irish dance. Patty has experience teaching tap at all levels and has a knack for perfecting routines. Her new found love for Irish Dance began 10 years ago when her daughter took her first dance class at age 3. Patty has danced with various studios over the past 10 years, performing and teaching Irish dance with the help of an accomplished Certified Irish Dance Instructor. By focusing every student’s dance education around technique and passion, Patty’s goal is to strive towards building the most well rounded dancers possible. We are excited to have Patty join our team at Inspire Dance Company where she can bring her talents and energy and instill them on our students.
